I've just added an article but it does not appear in the top 5 newest articles !

It is not necessary to refresh the page continuously : Top 5 lists are automatically rebuilt every two hours.
In less than two hours, your new article will appear in the list. Until then, you have time to contribute to other articles !

I know an article does exist but I have no results using the search engine !

Some pages are located in a different namespace than the main one. For example, this page is located in the "Help" namespace.
In the bottom of the search results page, you can choose to enlarge your research to other namespaces by ticking the corresponding boxes.

How do I link to an article located in wikipedia ?

This portal is totally compatible with other wikis like wikipedia.
If you want to link a word to it's wikipedia definition, just use the following syntax :
[[wikipedia:word|]]
If this word is directly linked to PicoSats or CubeSats and should have it's own article on this portal,
please use [[word]] to create an internal link.

I just created a new article but I cannot find it in any category of the read page !

You probably forgot to add the magic word [[Category:Articles]] or [[Category:Projects]] or ... at the end of your page.
To find your page and edit it, use the link "View All pages" in the left sidebar under "Useful pages".
